Yesterday evening Institute Avaroid conducted a test of appetizers during the opening of the annual exhibition of the “Darmstädter Sezession”. The sausage mandala – an examination device which will also play a role in further buffet research – was successfully tested by us. Approx. 90% of the visitors to an exhibition opening are only present for free treats. Unlimited availability, over-arching presentation and individual design possibilities radiate the splendor of the market economy constants in the festive ritual of the appetizer. The direct view into the moment of intimate consumerism gave us data on the nature of the Avarites which we will evaluate in the next days.

In addition, we were able to meet with many visitors and to enlighten the latest research on Avarites. The archive of greed is exhibited in the auditorium and media center of the TU Darmstadt until 14.11.2015 and can be viewed from monday to saturday from 8 am to 6 pm.
